This Privacy Policy explains how SPRINGBOK CONSTRUCTION LIMITED handles information in connection with the Android application Springbok Domestic Build (uk.co.springbuild.domestic.springbok.frame).

Springbok Domestic Build is a record-keeping aid for a site materials controller. It tracks timber and fixings against the delivery plan, showing quantities ordered and counted and flagging any line at or below its reorder level.

The policy describes where the application keeps its records, what leaves the device and when, and the choices available to the person using it.

Records Stored on Your Device

The application keeps its working records locally in the application's own storage on the Android device. This local content is not automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow. The records include:

Plan lines with material names, units, quantities ordered, reorder levels, due dates and suppliers
Delivery drops with their quantities and dates
Material names with the quantities counted on site and the dates counted

App State and Temporary Files

Alongside those records, the application keeps its own state on the device, meaning its settings and display preferences together with interface state such as the saved list order. That is the app's own state rather than the user's records.

The application also keeps temporary files in its cache. The last shared text file remains there only until the next share replaces it or local data is cleared.

Developer-Side Processing

The application has no account system, no cloud synchronisation and no server-side storage. The records described above stay in the application's storage on the device, and the company does not receive them.

The core workflow does not require personal identity information, and the application does not ask for it. User-created local content may contain personal information where the user chooses to enter or attach it.

Where a user contacts the company by email, the company receives the address the message was sent from and whatever the message contains. That correspondence is separate from anything the application stores.

Exporting and Sharing Your Records

The application lets a user export a result as a plain-text file through the Android share sheet, and lets a user copy a result as text to the device clipboard. Both actions are started by the user and happen only when the user chooses them. The core workflow does not transmit local content automatically.

A file or a snippet of text that has been exported or copied remains wherever the user places it, outside the application and outside the company's control.

External Services and User-Initiated Actions

Contact and share actions may open external Android services such as a browser, an email client or the Android share sheet when the user selects them. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices.

Clearing Local Data

Individual records can be deleted within the application, and all local data can be cleared from within the application. Local app data can also be removed through the Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.

What the App Does Not Include

The application does not include login or account registration, advertising, analytics, tracking, payment processing, subscriptions, monetisation features, or third-party service SDKs that receive app data.

Permissions Used by the Application

The application declares one Android permission.

android.permission.INTERNET — declared by the framework the app is built with; the app itself makes no network requests

Important Use Notice

Springbok Domestic Build records plan quantities and counted stock for timber and fixings. The figures it shows are only as current as the counts entered, and they are there for the user to check against their own records. The application does not place orders. Each line remains the user's own to check and sign off.

Retention and Security

Local records remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears local app data, or uninstalls the application. Exported files and copied text remain wherever the user chooses to save, send or paste them.

Reasonable measures are used to support the integrity of the application. Local app content stays in the application's own storage on the device and is not held on company servers. Users remain responsible for securing their own device and any exported copies. No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.

UK and EEA Data Rights

Users in the UK or the EEA may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, including access, correction, deletion and restriction, where those rights apply under law. Availability depends on whether personal data is being processed in a given situation.

Because the application stores its records on the device, that content can usually be managed directly on the device or removed by uninstalling the application. A user who wishes to raise a question about rights may contact the company using the details further below.

Children's Privacy (13+)

The application is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or otherwise address the situation.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised from time to time. The revision date shown with this policy is updated whenever the policy changes.
